World Health day 2025 was jointly organised by Department of Community medicine Kanyakumari government medical College along with Directorate of public health and Directorate of medical and rural health services on 07/04/2025
The theme of world health day 2025 was “Healthy beginnings hopeful futures”
The program was chaired by the honorable District collector Kanyakumari district Tmt.R. Algagumeena IAS along respected Dean Dr.V.Rmalakshmi MS DCH,Vice principal of KGMCH Prof.Dr. Suresh Balan MD DCH, keynote address given by Dr.Prabhakar MD DIH DIL District health officer, Dr.Ravikumar MS(general surgery) Deputy Director health & family welfare in the presence of Dr. Kingsley Jeba Singh, MD, DM Medical Superintendent, Dr. Y. Joseph Sen, D.Ortho Resident Medical Officer, Dr. M. Viyalakshmi, DCH Assistant Resident Medical Officer, Dr. N. Renimol, MBBS Assistant Resident Medical Officer
The program was attended by 75 Antenatal mother’s, vs & SHN, Nursing students and Medical students
Antenatal mother’s were made aware of the process of normal delivery through CME by experts in the field of Medicine.
