3 day BCME workshop was conducted by the Medical Education Unit form 27th to 29th March, 2025

Head injury awareness program was conducted on 27-03-2025. The awareness of Traffic rules and importance of wearing Helmet was insisted to prevent Head injury. The effective treatment facilities availability in KGMCH Neurosurgery dept was highlighted by Neurosurgeons.

நாகர்கோவிலில் காசநோய் ஒழிப்பு தீபம் ஏந்தி விழிப்புணர்வு தொடங்கியது-உலக காசநோய் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு ஆசாரிப்பள்ளம் அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனையில் இருந்து பேரணியை கல்லூரி முதல்வர் ஜோதி ஏற்றி தொடங்கி வைத்தார், மேலும் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகம் வரை மருத்துவர்கள் ஜோதி ஏந்தி விழிப்புணர்வை மருத்துவர்கள் ஏற்படுத்தி வருகின்றனர், இதனை தொடர்ந்து விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணி ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகத்திற்கு வந்த பிறகு மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அழகுமீனா ஜோதியை பெற்றுக் கொண்டு விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணியை நிறைவு செய்தார்.

World glaucoma awareness week was celebrated in ophthalmology dept with inauguration of OCT (optical coherence tomography) machine and flagging of rally by our District Collector madam. This was followed by a patient awareness meeting addressed by Dean madam and prize distribution to students.
