Issuing of Protein diet and salt free biscuit to all Dialysis patients has been started from May 22, 2025. Daily 60 – 70 patients visit KGMCH for dialysis.

A Career Guidance Program was successfully organized by the District Administration, in collaboration with Kanyakumari Government Medical College & Hospital (KGMCH), Asaripallam, and the Department of Community Medicine at Scott Christian College, Nagercoil. உலக ஆஸ்துமா தினம் ஒவ்வொரு மாதமும் மே மாதம் முதல் செவ்வாய் உலகம் முழுவதும் உலக சுகாதார நிறுவனத்தால் மக்களுக்கு ஆஸ்துமா பற்றிய விழிப்புண்வு ஏற்படுதும் வகையில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. கன்னியாகுமரி அரசு மருத்துவமனை கல்லூரி யில் நுரையீரல் சிகிச்சை துறை சார்பாக இன்று உலக ஆஸ்துமா தினம் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் அனுசரிக்க பட்டது. அதில் கன்னியாகுமரி அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி முதல்வர் பேராசிரியர் ராமலெட்சுமி தலைமையில் நெஞ்சக நோய் துறை மருத்துவதுறை மருத்துவர்கள் பொது மக்களுக்கு விழி்புணர்வு வழங்கினர். ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் 260 மில்லியன் மக்கள் உலகம் முழுதும் ஆஸ்த்மாவினல் பாதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். அதில் 45 லட்சம் பேர் நோயின் தீவிரதன்மையால் உயிர் இழக்கின்றனர் . இந்தியாவில் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் 3.4 கோடி மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர்.இது உலகளவில் 13 %. ஆஸ்துமா நோய் வருவதற்கான காரணம், அதன் அறிகுறிகள், அதற்க்கான சிகிச்சைமுறை, இன்ஹேலர் சிகிச்சையின் நன்மைகள் மற்றும் அதை பயன்படுத்தும் முறைகள் பற்றிய விழிப்புண்வு…
